Important: It's Time to Submit Your Tax Information

Action required: Keep your payments flowing by updating your tax details before September 1, 2026. If you haven't submitted your tax information yet, now is the time to take care of it. To comply with U.S. tax regulations, FanCentro is required to collect tax information from all creators and failing to submit it could impact your ability to get paid.

Here's everything you need to know. Why This Matters U.S. tax law requires platforms like FanCentro to collect tax documentation from creators and, where applicable, withhold taxes accordingly. This isn't optional, it's a legal requirement, and it affects all creators on the platform regardless of where you're located.

The deadline is August 31, 2026.

If your tax form hasn't been submitted by then:

  • ❌ Your payments may be frozen

  • ❌ The maximum tax withholding rate may be applied to your earnings

The good news? It only takes a few minutes to sort out and once it's done, you're covered.

How to Submit Your Tax Information

Follow these simple steps to get it done:

  1.  Log in to your FanCentro account

  2.  Navigate to your Creator Dashboard

  3.  Go to Core Settings → Account Details → Payment Information

  4.  Determine whether you are a U.S. person for federal tax purposes according to the IRS

  5.  Complete and submit your tax form and all required fields

  6.  Wait a few minutes — it can take up to 5 minutes to validate your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)

💡 Heads up: If there's an error with your TIN, you'll receive an on-screen notification and an email prompting you to resubmit. Keep an eye on your inbox just in case!

Don't Put It Off

The sooner you submit, the sooner you can stop worrying about it. There's no reason to risk a payment freeze over something that takes just a few minutes to complete.

If you have questions or run into any issues, the FanCentro Help Center has everything you need to walk through the process.

Thanks for staying on top of this! We appreciate you taking the time to keep your account in good standing.
